We are headquartered in the USA with a development center in Bangalore. We engage and deliver our SaaS-based product to a global clientele of luxury hotel chains spread across geographies like USA, Middle East, Europe, SE Asia & India.
Our services are delivered across multiple channels like mobile, web app, TV, Kiosks and enables contactless check-in, hyper-personalization, and intelligent automation for both the hotels and their guests.
- The Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who can:
• Ensure On-time and Quality delivery of Product Features by deploying Agile Methodologies and using the Scrum framework.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and Operations team to ensure timely delivery, ensure Platform Uptime and Manage Technical Debt.
• Support and collaborate with Product Management team for defining Product Strategy and achieving Product vision.
• Participate in Backlog Refinement and assist Product Management Team with User Story Prioritization.
• Participate in Sprint Planning along with Product Team and Technical Leads to define Sprint scope, goal and deliverables.
• Define, Deploy and Improve SDLC processes in co-ordination with Product and QA Teams.
• Ensure all User Stories are estimated, software designs created and Sprint dependencies are met before Sprint begins to ensure smooth Sprint execution.
• Assign tasks to team members and monitor Sprint progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure team conducts Unit Testing and Peer Code Reviews are done.
• Send periodic updates on Sprint Progress.
• Identify bottlenecks to sprint schedule and address them in a timely manner.
• Support Production Support team in addressing Production issues and meeting SLAs.
• Collaborate with Technical Architect participate in development and deployment of Platform Architecture that is aligned with Product Vision.
• Deploy and Institutionalise AI Assisted Coding tools and guidelines for use.
• Build and develop a high performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching and timely upskilling.
• Define Goals and objectives and conduct performance reviews for the team.
• Send Weekly Reports for Executive Team.
- Must Haves
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of Professional experience, including 5+ years in Software Product/Platform development.
• Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, or Java with prior experience.
• Demonstrated experience in executing or implementing AI solutions within live projects is mandatory.
• Prior experience in using AI Tools for Coding, Code Refactoring, Unit Testing, Automated testing and documentation is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, secure, customer-focused solutions.
• Experience with performance optimization and security frameworks.
• Excellent grasp of Software Engineering processes, DevOps, and experience with Agile and Scrum practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Effective communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude with strong people management skills.
• Experience in product-based companies with a strong understanding of the product lifecycle and strategy is mandatory.
• Proven delivery capabilities in high-volume SaaS platforms.
• A background in startups or high-growth scaling environments is essential, along with the ability to adapt in dynamic settings
